Ladies watch – please call at the office THANKS FROM KAREN & SIMON Mikes Ministry Prayer Focus: From Murray’s Diary I was also able to talk over a bit more about the things I find particularly difficult and how best to cope with them, as well as the times when I do too much and become exhausted. It is strange to see Sevenoaks listed in Mike’s activities! As my home town, it still holds a special place in my mind and I hope the filming goes well. As it happens I am going down to Sevenoaks in the next few weeks to see my Aunt, who still lives there, and is now in her mid nineties. I don’t think of the town as home any more, but being there still has a way of connecting me powerfully with my roots. I am looking forward to seeing the familiar landmarks and the countryside I still remember so well after all the years! It will be the longest journey that I will have made for a long time, so I am a bit concerned how I will cope, and how much recovery time will be needed, but I still think it will be worth the trip! |
