New facilities for conferences and community meetings

The Meeting Place
 
 

This cosy room is deceptively spacious, seating up to 50 people. The room has level access from the street and with an adjacent disabled toilet (with baby change) it is ideal for the less mobile. Full toilet facilities are also available. The fitted kitchen provides easy serving of refreshments through the hatch.

Hourly rate £15 for general users.

The Old Vestry
 
 

A bright and inviting room which will accommodate up to about 25 people. It has separate access, facilities for making drinks, and a toilet nearby.

This room has to be accessed up a few stone steps.

Hourly rate £10 for general users.

 
The Nave
 
 

This beautiful, spacious, area can accommodate up to 200 people and is ideal for conferences, with areas at the sides for discussion groups and a dais for presentations. Combined with the Meeting Place level access is provided along with a place for refreshments and adjacent toilet facilities.

The Nave can be also accessed up steps through the side porch which has limited toilet facilities.

The public address system is available and will soon include a loop for the hearing impaired.

Hourly rate for the Nave £16 for general users

 
 
The Upper Hall
 
 

This spacious room which can be accessed by stairs or a platform lift will accommodate up to 60 people. The east window gives a stunning view over the Nave and the hall has a kitchenette for making drinks.

Hourly rate £12 for general users.

If the Nave & Meeting Place are booked together there is a reduction to £21 (rather than £31 if booked separately)
 
The Scout Hall (Welby Place, Norton Lees)
 
The Scout Hall which situated in its own grounds at the top of Welby Place in Norton Lees is spacious and is equipped with a good wooden floor.  There are toilets and a kitchen for making drinks.  The hall now has a quiet efficient heating system and is used by groups most weekday evenings.
 
The Hall is available for daytime and weekend booking at £8.00 an hour.  Parties considered.
 
Parking and storage space are limited and at present the hall is accessed up a few small steps.
